01Service Definition
This Service is a term-based rental of Apple Silicon Mac mini dedicated physical servers. Every unit you rent is a real, individually numbered physical node built on the M4 or M4 Pro chip, running macOS — not a virtual machine — and it shares no compute, memory, or storage with any other user.
- Available nodes are located in four regions: Singapore, Japan (Tokyo), South Korea (Seoul), and Hong Kong. Every region offers the same models at the same price and configuration; see pricing.html for exact specs and pricing.
- What's included: exclusive use of the physical device, a macOS environment, SSH and remote-desktop access, dedicated bandwidth, and the ability to reinstall or reboot the machine yourself throughout the rental period.
- What's not included: ownership of the hardware, physical access to the data center, access to any other user's device, or any hardware commitment beyond the published specs.
- You get full access to the macOS GUI and command line. The pre-installed Xcode version and how to switch between versions are documented on the Guides page.
02Account & Provisioning
- Registration: You must register with a valid, reachable email address. It's the sole channel for device credentials, billing notices, and terms-change notifications — undelivered notices due to an unreachable inbox are your responsibility.
- Credential custody: Once the initial login credentials are delivered by email, safekeeping them is your responsibility. We strongly recommend changing your credentials and switching to key-based login immediately after first sign-in. Any device misuse or data loss resulting from leaked credentials is the account holder's responsibility.
- Delivery point: The Service is considered delivered once credentials are sent by email. Delivery typically takes about 4 minutes from payment confirmation; edge cases (e.g., delayed on-chain confirmation) may take longer, and actual delivery time governs. The rental period starts once delivery is complete.
- Account authenticity: One person may hold multiple orders, but registration details must be accurate. We reserve the right to refuse provisioning or terminate the Service for accounts registered with false information or used for the prohibited activities in Section 05.
03Billing & Cycles
- Billing terms: Billed daily, weekly, monthly, or quarterly, all settled in US dollars (USD). Exact pricing for each model and term is published in real time on pricing.html — the listed price is the final price, with no hidden fees.
- Add-ons: Storage upgrades (+1TB / +2TB SSD) and Thunderbolt 5 pass-through are optional add-ons that bill and expire in sync with the host machine's cycle — they don't run on a separate billing schedule. Add-on pricing is likewise published on pricing.html.
- Renewal: You can renew anytime before expiry from the control panel; the new period extends from the original expiry date, so renewing early never costs you remaining time. See Section 07 for what happens if you don't renew before expiry.
- Switching billing terms: You can switch billing terms at renewal (e.g., from daily to monthly). The new rate applies starting with the new period; already-billed periods are never recalculated retroactively.
- Upgrades: Upgrading from the M4 Home tier to the M4 Pro Workstation tier within the same region can be requested via a support ticket in the control panel. Since this involves swapping to a different physical machine, data migration is your responsibility, and the upgrade is billed at the new model's published rate.
04Payment Terms
We accept exactly two payment methods: USDT-TRC20, and Visa / Mastercard / Amex (processed via Stripe). All orders are settled in US dollars (USD); the exact gateways available may vary by session — see the checkout page for what's offered at the time of your order.
- USDT-TRC20: Payment is confirmed once the on-chain transaction is confirmed, usually within a few minutes; confirmation time depends on network conditions, and actual confirmation time governs. Please transfer the exact amount shown on the order page — mismatched amounts require manual reconciliation and will delay provisioning.
- Card payments: Visa / Mastercard / Amex are processed through Stripe; a successful charge counts as payment received. We never see or store your card details.
- Provisioning sequence: Payment confirmed → dedicated physical machine assigned → macOS initialized → credentials emailed. The whole process typically takes about 4 minutes from payment confirmation.
- Refund policy: Once a device is delivered, it starts occupying dedicated physical resources, so already-billed periods generally aren't refundable on a pro-rated basis. If we fail to deliver due to a fault on our end, you get a full refund via the original payment method.
05Acceptable Use
A dedicated physical machine means fewer restrictions, but it doesn't mean no boundaries. By using the Service, you agree not to:
- Engage in any activity that violates applicable law, including but not limited to intruding on others' systems, distributing malware, or storing or distributing infringing or illegal content.
- Abuse network resources — launching DDoS attacks, port scanning, sending spam, running open proxies or traffic relays for profit, or any activity that disrupts the data center network or other nodes.
- Circumvent Apple's software licensing terms, including running workloads or distribution methods that violate the macOS software license agreement.
- Resell or sublet device access without notifying us in a way that prevents us from identifying the actual responsible user.
- Attempt to probe, disrupt, or gain unauthorized access to our infrastructure or other users' devices.
If we detect any of the above, we may issue a warning, throttle bandwidth, suspend access, or terminate the Service, depending on severity. Serious violations forfeit any paid fees, and we reserve the right to hand over evidence to the relevant authorities.
06Uptime Commitment
- 365 days a year: Every node targets 365-day-a-year availability, with no scheduled downtime of any kind. Hardware swaps, system updates, and other maintenance work are planned so as not to interrupt devices currently rented.
- Incident response: We proactively monitor and respond to node failures; you can also file a support ticket or email us to report an issue. Updates during an incident are shared by email.
- Compensation policy: If a device is unavailable due to a fault on our end, we compensate you with equivalent rental time added to your account (time, not cash), based on actual downtime; any cumulative downtime under 30 minutes is rounded up to 30 minutes. Compensated time is automatically appended to the end of your current billing period.
- Exclusions: Downtime caused by force majeure (see Section 08), your own actions on the system (e.g., accidentally deleting system files, misconfiguring networking), or downtime resulting from a reinstall or reboot you initiated yourself, is not eligible for compensation.
07Data & Decommissioning
- Data ownership: All data on your device belongs to you. We never read or analyze the contents of your machine — see our Privacy Policy for the full boundaries.
- Grace period: If you don't renew before expiry, access to the device is suspended, and your data is retained for 72 hours as a renewal grace period. Renewing within that window restores access with your data intact.
- Storage wipe: If the grace period ends without renewal, or you actively request cancellation, the device's entire storage is wiped before the machine is reclaimed. This wipe is irreversible — once done, neither party can recover the data.
- Backups are your responsibility: We don't provide backup services for device data. Backing up your data during the rental period is entirely on you — we recommend regularly syncing build artifacts, certificates, and configs to your own storage.
08Liability & Force Majeure
- To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we're not liable for indirect losses arising from your use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to lost profits, business interruption, consequential data loss, or third-party claims.
- Our total liability for any single order is capped at the total fees you actually paid for that order's current billing period.
- Force majeure: Neither party is liable for service interruptions caused by natural disasters, war, widespread power or backbone network outages, government action, or other events that are unforeseeable and unavoidable. If a force majeure event lasts more than 14 days, either party may terminate the affected order, with a pro-rated refund for unused time.
09Changes & Termination
- Notice of changes: For material changes to these Terms, we'll give at least 7 days' notice via your registered email and a site-wide announcement. Changes take effect for new billing periods starting after the notice period; already-active periods remain governed by the terms in force at the time of order. Renewing or placing a new order after a change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
- Your right to terminate: You may stop renewing at any time and let your rental expire naturally, or request cancellation from the control panel, which is processed per Section 07.
- Our right to terminate: We may terminate the Service if you violate Section 05, or fail to remedy any other material breach within 14 days of notice. Fees already paid are non-refundable if termination results from a Section 05 violation.
- After termination: The device's storage is wiped per Section 07, and both parties' rights and obligations under these Terms end — except Sections 08 and 10, which remain in effect.
10Disputes & Contact
- Governing law: The formation, validity, interpretation, and performance of these Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where the platform's operating entity is based.
- Dispute resolution: Disputes arising from these Terms should first be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of that jurisdiction.
- Contact: For questions about these Terms, email support@opsmac.com or sign in to Order now to open a support ticket — both channels are handled by the same support team.
